THANK YOU to everyone who responded so quickly and generously. In December 2009, our Parish Center was destroyed by fire. The
Archdiocese has responded with their expertise to guide
us. We would also like to thank Prince of Peace Parish in Edgewood for offering their support in hosting our Faith Formation classes.
PARISH CENTER BUILDING COMMITTEE consists of Father Simmons, John Crossin, Veronica Hernandez-Shepard,
Kathy Meneghini and Ed Stricker.
PARISH CENTER RECONSTRUCTION PROGRESS: Father Simmons met with Bishop Madden and others. All have agreed that now is not the time to take on substantial debt. Therefore, we will rebuild
with the settlement we receive from the insurance company.
Our new Project Manager determined that the front part of the building that was once
considered “salvageable” has damage to the roof trusses and it will be cheaper to rebuild. This development will require revision of the new building design and
approval by the Building Committee. The
estimated completion date of the new Parish Center in 2012.
We are pleased to announce that the meeting between the Archdiocese and the
representatives the from insurance company was held. Figures were given to us for a settlement. We await the
agreement of the figures by the insurance company in London.
The storage container on the Parish Center parking lot has been donated by Wilmot Container Company. It contains our old items for which we have been paying storage fees.

FAITH FORMATION is held each Sunday at Prince of Peace Church from 9:45 to 10:55. This will give families time to
